UHIP REIMBURSEMENT SIGN UP PROCESS NOW OPEN — TO ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WHO WERE TAs in 2010:

You are eligible for this Union Reimbursement if you are an International Student, have paid for UHIP, and are or have worked as a Teaching Assistant in 2010.

In order to get this benefit, you have to come to the office and apply from:

Monday, Oct. 4th to Friday, Oct. 8th  between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m..

Please remember to bring (proof of your TAship (e.g., a pay stub from your TA work, or Offer Of TA Appointment), and a copy of the document that shows you have paid for UHIP (e.g., your UHIP Card).

You may not be able to apply without these two documents.

As soon as the cheques are ready, we will send you an e-mail about a social event where the cheques will be distributed. Until that time, please feel free to drop by the office to chat. Please spread the word.

The office is located on the 2nd floor of the University Centre above William’s Coffee Shop in UC 213A .

THIS IS THE FINAL REMINDER – GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING TODAY, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th 2010 IN UC 103 AT 5:30 p.m.
All Sessional, GTA, UTA & GSA1 Members are invited to attend your Union’s first General Membership Meeting for this Academic Year.
